In February I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Halcyon and James to celebrate their engagement. They were the winners of the Valentine couple shoot contest which I ran in conjunction with the lovely Amma on her epic Beyond Beyond Wedding Blog, and we both loved the amount of thought they shared with us for a chance to win this romantic shoot.
Halcyon and James met at work: “We both really love the depression era, speakeasy vibe style and for us to dress up for a few hours and be like love on the run would be a wonderful and unforgettable experience. We are both from and live in London and therefore a London twist to the photos would be great!”
We had a brilliant afternoon shooting around locations in South London. Our final stop being Bar Story – the coolest bar in Peckham nestled under the railway arches. A special thank you to Ben for your hospitality and behind the scene footage – you were awesome. And congratulations to Halcyon & James, I have no doubt your wedding is going to be amazing!
