A Fearless Bridal session, also known as Trash the Dress or Rock the Frock are one of my secret guilty pleasures. Call it as you may, it is the perfect opportunity for a bride to wear her wedding dress again and have a fun, whimsical and individual photography session in a location setting that completely contrasts her wedding day.
I love for the bride to choose the type of location for the shoot, for Anneli’s session we found this secret abandoned factory near London and snuck in one afternoon, keeping a very low profile (of course)! We had perfect afternoon light and a lot of fun! Anneli’s french lace Pronovias wedding dress took a bit of a beating in the brambles but came out the other side completely untainted and without a single bit of damage, albeit dusty seams.
Claire’s shoot was perfectly timed with bluebell season and we headed onto the borders of Epping Forest in Essex and found the perfect spot to set up shop. By the afternoon we had attracted a Sunday picnic crowd and Claire became an instant celebrity as the picnickers cooed over how gorgeous Claire looked. To me the style of Claire’s photoshoot was much more like fine art while Anneli’s was much more fashion-inspired because I aim to provide a unique experience and end product for all my clients that suits their style and ideas.
